DIAGEN Launches Streptavidinized and Viral Nucleic Acid Extraction Magnetic Microspheres

DIAGEN announces the official launch of its magnetic microsphere product line, extending the company’s portfolio from finished rapid tests and ELISA kits into raw materials for IVD manufacturing. The new line, marketed under the Diagenbeads™ brand, covers two application families: streptavidinized magnetic microspheres for immunoassay and molecular capture workflows, and viral nucleic acid extraction magnetic microspheres for sample preparation in molecular diagnostics.
Diagenbeads™ magnetic microspheres are monodisperse superparamagnetic particles engineered for consistent lot-to-lot performance. Each batch is controlled for particle size, surface group density and magnetic responsiveness, and the product line offers selectable surface chemistries to fit different coupling strategies — supporting protein purification, immunoprecipitation, cell sorting and nucleic acid extraction in both manual and automated workflows.
The launch reflects DIAGEN’s strategy of serving IVD manufacturers along the full value chain: finished test kits for distributors, and upstream raw materials for manufacturers building their own assay platforms. Production takes place in the company’s facility in Xiamen, China, under an ISO 13485 certified quality management system, with large-scale in-house capacity ensuring stable supply and controllable cost.
